Nepse Index closes positively by 3.50 points today; Turnover continues to slide down to Rs 71.43 crore

Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE)’s benchmark index has slightly inches up by 3.50 points or 0.21 percent to close at 1632.66 points. Today, NEPSE index opened at 1629.43 points and the local bourse was seen in upward trend until the second trading hour after that market eventually lead to the downfall. The market turnover was more than Rs 71.43 crore while more than 16.54 lakhs unit of the share was traded with 6,655 transactions. Prudential Insurance Company Limited Promoter Share (PICLPO) was the top stocks by turnover (Rs 3.46 crore) while NIBL Samriddhi Fund 1(NIBSF1) among the most traded shares (2.09 lakhs unit) today. The top gainer for today’s trading day was Hamro Bikas Bank Limited (HAMRO) with 5.33 percent with LTP at Rs 236. On the other hand, the top loser for the day was Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) with 9.97 percent change in LTP to Rs1, 670 which has been on losing streak for 2 days. Expect Hydro, Finance, and Manufacturing & production sub-indices, all other sub-indices landed on the green. Insurance sub-indices grew by 75.78 points, while Manufacture &Production has slumped by 53.15 points. Sensitive and float index slightly went up by 0.93 and 0.21 points respectively.
