NEPSE Increased By Massive 54.58 Points on First Trading Day of the Week; Eight Scrips Hit Positive Circuit for the Day

The NEPSE index closed at 2,195.10 today after gaining 54.58 points from yesterday's closing. This is a gain of 2.55%. The index had gained 13.05 points last Friday.
The index opened at 2,142.31 points which is also the intraday low. The index ultimately closed at intraday high of 2,195.10 .
220 scrips traded hands via 67,741 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 11,339,486 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 4.609 Arba in the turnover amount. This is much higher than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 2.191 Arba.
SHIVAM CEMENTS LTD (SHIVM) had the highest turnover of Rs. 21.34 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 818 per share. The shares of Kumari Bank Limited Promotor Share (KBLPO) traded the most.
Eight scrips gained all they could for the day and hit the positive circuit.
On the other side of things, 12 % Goodwill Finance Limited Debenture 2083 (GWFD83) lost the highest 3.94% today.
Only one sector closed red, "Investment" gained the highest 4.76% while "Finance" lost 1.6%.
