NEPSE Increased By 10.27 Points on First Trading Day of the Week; Intraday Turnover Stood at Rs. 2.673 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 2,123.82 today after gaining 10.27 points from last trading day. This is a gain of 0.49%. The index had lost 34.61 points yesterday.
The index opened at 2,109.41 points and went intraday high at 2,133.62. Then, the index made intraday low at 2,107.49 and ultimately closed at 2,123.82.
219 scrips traded hands via 44,240 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 6,106,521 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 2.673 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 3.768 Arba.
SHIVAM CEMENTS LTD (SHIVM) had the highest turnover of Rs. 13.89 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 785 per share. The shares of Nepal Credit And Commercial Bank Limited (NCCB) traded the most.
Manakamana Smart Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MKLB) gained highest 10% and hit positive circuit for the day.
On the other side of things, Naya Sarathi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (NSLB) lost the highest 3.48% today.
Only one sector closed red, "Life Insurance" lost the 0.05% while "Hotels And Tourism" gained the least 2.16%.
