NEPSE gains minimum of 0.90 points; Nepal Bank alone posts turnover of Rs.32 Crore

The market, that reached a high of 1144 points today, stood to gain a minimum of 0.08% or 0.90 points and closed at 1131.73 points. Thee turnover today was of Rs.63.79 Crore achieved from trade of 2,139,348 units of shares traded through 4,769 transactions trading scrips of 156 listed companies in the process.

Almost 11 Lakh unit shares of Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) were traded today to post a massive turnover of Rs.31.99 Crore making up more than 50% of the total turnover. The LTP of the bank stands at Rs.292 per share.

Vijaya Laghubitta (VLBS) gained 6.60% or 43 points and closed at Rs.695 per share, making it today’s top gainer. Today’s top loser was Rairang Hydropower (RRHP) after it lost 5.50% or 6 points to close at Rs.103 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 0.06 points to close at 240.26 points while Float Index gained 0.08 points to close at 82.10 points.

Development Banks, Non-Life Insurance, Others and Life Insurance sectors were the only sub-indices that gained today. Rest of the sub-indices lost points ending in the red zone with Microfinance losing the most.
