NEPSE Gains Massive 61.05 Points on the First Trading Day After Monetary Policy; All Sector Indices Close Green Led By Finance with 7.22%

The NEPSE index closed at 2,078.51 today after gaining 61.05 points from yesterday's closing. This is a gain of 3.03%. The index had lost 27.26 points last Friday.
The index opened at 2027.80 points, which is also the intraday low. The index went intraday high and closed at 2,078.51.
219 scrips traded hands via 42,931 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 6,423,156 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 2.730 Arba in the turnover amount. This is a lot higher than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.443 Arba.
SHIVAM CEMENTS LTD (SHIVM) traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 39.71 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 789 per share.
Three scrips gained all they could for the day and hit the positive circuit breaker for the day.
On the other side of things, 10 % NMB DEBENTURE 2085 (NMBD2085) lost the highest 1.52% today.
All sector indices closed green, "Finance" gained the highest 7.22% while "Mutual Fund" gained the least 1.16 %.
