NEPSE gains an impressive 13.58 points and closes at 1,570.38; Turnover shrinks to Rs. 97.9 crores

The NEPSE index gained 13.58 points from yesterday's close and ultimately closed at 1,570.38. The market-close itself is the intraday high today.

3,353,201 shares exchanged hands via 15,478 transactions. The trading of 189 scrips brought the total market turnover to Rs. 97.9 crores.

The float index gained 1.13 points and closed at 109.42 while the Sensitive index is at 310.89 after gaining 2.62 points.

Api Power Company Limited (API) has the highest individual scrip turnover of Rs. 4.02 crores. The shares of National Hydro Power Company Limited (NHPC) traded the most.

Four companies technically hit the 10% positive circuit today: General Insurance Company Nepal Limited (GIC), Union Hydropower Company Limited (UNHPL), Ghalemdi Hydro Limited (GHL), and Api Power Company Limited (API).

On the other hand, Ganapati Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (GMFBS) lost the most 1.91%.

Trading is the only sector that lost today, and that too, a minimal 0.16 points. Among all other sectors that gained, Hydropower gained the most 3.31%.
