NEPSE gains 7.49 points to close at 1319.63 points; 10 companies hit the circuit today, nine positive and one negative

The market today gained 0.57% or 7.49 points and closed at 1319.63 points. Today’s turnover was worth Rs.96.66 Crore which was achieved from trade of 3,436,937 units of shares traded through 12,422 transactions trading scrips of 171 listed companies in the process.

Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) posted the highest turnover today at Rs.6.96 Crore with its LTP standing at Rs.343 per share. In terms of shares traded, Hydroelectricity Investment and Development Company (HIDCL) stood ahead with trade of 213,727 units of shares. The LTP of the company stands at Rs.179 per share.

Nine companies hit the positive circuit today. Among them Arun Valley Hydropower (AHPC) was the top gainer after it gained 10% or 11 points and closed at Rs.121 per share. Ghalemdi Hydro Limited (GHL) hit the negative circuit after it lost 9.48% or 11 points and closed at Rs.105 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 1.35 points and closed at 281.27 points while Float Index gained 0.69 points and close at 96.80 points.

Manufacturing and Mutual Funds were today’s losing sub-indices while rest of the sub-indices gained points.
