NEPSE Gains 44.16 Points (1.95%) and Closes at 2,313 Levels; 4 Companies Hit Positive Circuit

The NEPSE index closed at 2,313 today after gaining 44.16 points from the yesterday's closing. This is a gain of 1.95%. The index had gained 12.27 points yesterday.

The index opened at 2,269.36 points and made the intraday low at 2,268.76. It then made the intraday high at 2,314.63 and closed at 2,313.

226 scrips traded hands via 26,565 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 3,330,150 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.356 Arba in the turnover amount. This is a little lower than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 1.390 Arba.

Ngadi Group Power Ltd. (NGPL) traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 9.98 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 633.60 per share.

Jalpa Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (JALPA), Ngadi Group Power Ltd. (NGPL) and Barun Hydropower Co. Ltd. (BARUN) gained the highest 10% and hit the positive circuit breaker for the day.

On the other side of things, NIBL Samriddhi Fund -2 (NIBSF2) lost the highest 4.82% today.

All sector indices closed green, "HydroPower" gained the highest 3.8% while "Mutual Fund" gained the least 0.34%
