Nepse gains 4.02 points before shutting down for Dashain

The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) has closed at 1549.46, a rise of 4.02 points (0.26%) before closing down for Dashain.
As of Tuesday, the Market posted a total turnover of Rs32.07 Crore a slight increase than Monday’s turnover.
Nepal Investment Bank Limited (NIB), Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited and Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited (SCB) with let the group of companies with highest turnover.
Likewise, shares of NIB, Janata Bank Nepal Limited (JBNL) and Nepal Bangladesh Bank Limited (NBB) were traded the most today.
Kankai Bikas Bank Limited (KNBL), Deva Bikas Bank Limited (DBBL) and Excel Development Bank Limited (EDBL) gained the most while Bishal Bazar Company Limited (BBC) was the top loser today as well.
Out of 9 trading groups, 5 saw their indices turning green with banking sector posting the highest gain of 0.39%. Similarly, the sensitive and float index gained 1.16 and 0.3 points respectively.
