NEPSE Gains 25.57 Points to Settle at 1,936.83 Levels; Intraday Turnover Stood at Rs. 1.715 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 1,936.83 today after gaining 25.57 points from last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 1.34%. The index had gained 13.40 points yesterday.

The index opened at 1,912.24 which is also the intraday low. It then made intraday high at 1,939.59 and ultimately closed at 1,936.83.

223 scrips traded hands via 27,231 transactions. A total of 4,384,004 shares exchanged hands amounting to only Rs. 1.715 Arba in the turnover amount. This is higher than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 85.94 Crores.

Ridi Power Company Limited (RIDI) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 14.39 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 512 per share.

Sikles Hydropower Limited (SIKLES) gained the highest 10% and hit positive circuit for the day.

On the other side of things, Forward Microfinance Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (FOWAD) lost 2.97% today.

All sector indices closed green, "HydroPower Index" gained the highest 3.14% while "Life Insurance" gained the least 0.63%.
