NEPSE Gains 14.22 Points to Settle at 1,873.11 Levels; Intraday Turnover Stood at Rs. 93.08 Crores

The NEPSE index closed at 1,873.11 today after gaining 14.22 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 0.76%. The index gained 3.83 points yesterday.
The index opened at 1,859.72 and made an intraday low of 1,858.57. It then made an intraday high at 1,881.21 and ultimately closed at 1,873.11.
257 scrips traded hands via 23,344 transactions. A total of 3,022,052 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 93.08 Crores in turnover amount. This is higher than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 88.60 Crores.
Nepal Doorsanchar Company Limited (NTC) had the highest turnover of Rs. 6.38 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 931 per share. The shares of Civil Bank Ltd (CBL) traded the most.
Adhikhola Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (AKBSL) and Shrijanshil Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SHLB) gained the highest 10% each and hit a positive circuit for the day.
On the other side of things, Sunrise Bluechip Fund (SBCF) lost the highest 4.67% each today.
All sector indices closed green, "Hotel and Tourism" gained the highest by 2.40% while "Mutual Fund" gained the least by 0.03%.
