NEPSE Gains 13.33 Points To Close at 2,043.92; Total Turnover Stands at Rs 2.17 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 2,043.92 today after gaining 13.33 points from last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 0.66%. The index had lost 46.08 points yesterday.
The index opened at 2036.46 and made an intraday low at 1,994.54. It then went intraday day high at 2,047.37 and ultimately closed at 2,043.92.
228 scrips traded hands via 38,008 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 6,263,310 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 2.178 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 2.968 Arba.
Gurkhas Finance Ltd. (GUFL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 11.7 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 490. The shares of Civil Bank Ltd (CBL) traded the most.
CYC Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (CYCL) and Life Insurance Corporation Nepal Limited (LICN) gained highest 10% each and hit a positive circuit for the day.
On the other side of things, 9.5% NCC Debenture 2086 (NCCD86) lost the highest 5.89% today.
Ten out of thirteen sector indices closed green, and “Finance" gained the highest 2.72% while "Mutual Fund" lost the highest 0.56%.
