NEPSE Gains 12.27 Points Today, Nine of Thirteen Sector Indices Close Green

The NEPSE index closed at 2,268.84 today after gaining 12.27 points from the yesterday's closing. This is a gain of 0.54%. The index had gained 17.95 points yesterday.
The index opened at 2,263.06 points and made the intraday low at 2,255.45. It then made the intraday high at 2,289.84 and closed at 2,268.84.
222 scrips traded hands via 28,675 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 3,324,822 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.390 Arba in the turnover amount. This is higher than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 1.326 Arba.
Nepal Doorsanchar Company Limited (NTC) had the highest turnover of Rs. 7.83 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 1,020 per share. The shares of Nepal Infrastructure Bank Limited (NIFRA) traded the most.
Jalpa Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (JALPA) gained the highest 10% and hit the positive circuit breaker for the day.
On the other side of things, Himalaya Urja Bikas Company Limited (HURJA) lost the highest 3.78% today.
Nine of thirteen sectors closed green, "Trading" gained the highest 1.74% while "Investment" lost the highest 0.09%
