NEPSE Gains 11.95 Points in Two Days, Settles Today at 1,939.61 Level; IPO Rookie DOLTI Hits Circuit Breaker

The NEPSE index closed at 1,939.61 today after gaining 7.27 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 0.38%. The index gained 4.68 points yesterday.

Today the index opened at 1,933.4 and then made the intraday low at 1,920.65. In contrast, it went as high as 1,947.45 and ultimately closed at 1,939.61.

273 scrips traded hands via 43,128 transactions. A total of 5,962,093 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 2.305 Arba in turnover amount. This is lower than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 2.36 Arba.

IGI Prudential Insurance Limited (IGI) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 10.26 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 474 per share.

Dolti Power Company Limited (DOLTI) gained the highest 10% followed by Bhugol Energy Development Company Limited (BEDC) with a 9.96% gain.

Conversely, River Falls Power Limited (RFPL) lost the highest 6.64% today.

Four sector indices closed red, "Trading" gained the highest 5.58% while "Hotels and Tourism" lost the highest 0.93% today.
