NEPSE Gains 0.80% To Settle At 2,045.63 Levels; Intraday Turnover Stood at Rs. 2.299 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 2,045.63 today after gaining 16.20 points from last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 0.80%. The index had gained 18.03 points yesterday.
The index opened at 2029.71 and went intraday low at 2,028.17. It then made intraday high 2,062.36 at and ultimately closed at 2,045.63.
213 scrips traded hands via 37,972 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 5,713,248 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 2.299 Arba in the turnover amount. This is 75% higher than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 1.312 Arba.
SHIVAM CEMENTS LTD (SHIVM) had the highest turnover of Rs. 15.97 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 784.60. The shares of Everest Bank Limited (EBL) traded the most.
Emerging Nepal Limited (ENL) gained the highest 8.01%.
On the other side of things, Civil Bank Debenture 2088 (CBLD88) lost the highest 7.75% today.
All sector indices closed green, “Finance" gained the highest 2.7% while "Mutual Fund" gained the least 0.09%.
