NEPSE Gains 0.24% to Close at 2,050.59; Eight Sectors Closed Green Led by Finance

The NEPSE index closed at 2,050.59 today after gaining 4.89 points from last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 0.24%. The index had gained 16.20 points yesterday.
The index opened at 2046.21 and went intraday low at 2,033.28. It then made intraday high 2,061.56 at and ultimately closed at 2,050.59.
215 scrips traded hands via 29,086 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 4,133,709 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.731 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 2.299 Arba.
SHIVAM CEMENTS LTD (SHIVM) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 16.42 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 815.
Multipurpose Finance Company Limited (MPFL) gained the highest 5.69%.
On the other side of things, Laxmi Equity Fund (LEMF) lost the highest 6.33% today.
Eight out of thirteen sector indices closed green, “Finance" gained the highest 1.91 % while "Trading" lost the highest 0.59 %.
