NEPSE falls by 5.71 points to close at 1186.03 points; MPFL hit the positive circuit after gaining 9.85%

The market today lost 0.48% or 5.71 points and closed at 1186.03 points. The turnover today was of Rs.42.13 Crore which was achieved from trade of 1,241,843 units of shares traded through 4,943 transactions trading scrips of 165 listed companies.

Nepal Investment Bank (NIB) posted the highest turnover at Rs.6.24 Crore with its LTP standing at Rs.681 per share. Prime Commercial Bank Promoter Shares (PCBLP) topped the shares traded list after 100,000 units were traded today. The LTP of the same stands at Rs.202 per share.

Multipurpose Finance Company (MPFL) hit the positive circuit today after it gained 9.85% or 13 points to close at Rs.145 per share. NMB Bank Promoter Shares (NMBPO) lost the most today after the prices fell by 9.33% or 21 points to close at Rs.204 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 1.27 points and closed at 252.41 points while Float Index lost 0.48 points and closed at 86.19 points.

All the sub-indices lost points today ending in the red zone. Hotels became the top losing sub-index after it lost 1.24% or 21.50 points.
