NEPSE Fall Mere 0.37% to Settle at 1,929.70 Levels; Intraday Turnover Stood at Rs. 1.352 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 1,929.70 today after losing 7.13 points from last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.37%. The index had gained 25.57 points last Thursday.

The index opened at 1,938.47 and made the intraday high at 1,961.28. It then made intraday low at 1,926.39 and ultimately closed at 1,929.70.

228 scrips traded hands via 24,243 transactions. A total of 3,763,836 shares exchanged hands amounting to only Rs. 1.352 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.715 Arba.

Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 12.16 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 283 per share.

Janaki Finance Company Limited (JFL) gained the highest 6.23% for the day.

On the other side of things, Unilever Nepal Limited (UNL) lost 5.58% today.

Only two sector indices closed green, "Banking SubIndex" gained the highest 0.09% while "Development Bank" and "Others" lost the least 1.44% each.
