NEPSE Fall Mere 0.33% to Settle at 1,958.94 Levels; Intraday Turnover Inclined to Rs. 2.109 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 1,958.94 today after gaining 6.43 points from last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 0.33%. The index had gained 43.20 points yesterday.

The index opened at 1,924.2 and made intraday high at 1,987.32. It then made intraday high at 1,955.28 and ultimately closed at 1,958.94.

224 scrips traded hands via 35,112 transactions. A total of 4,944,076 shares exchanged hands amounting to only Rs. 2.109 Arba in the turnover amount. This is alot higher than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.548 Arba.

Jalpa Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (JALPA) had the highest turnover of Rs. 15.16 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 3,645 per share. The shares of Himal Dolakha Hydropower Company Limited (HDHPC) traded the most.

Dhaulagiri Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (DLBS) gained the highest 8.13% for the day.

On the other side of things, Global IME Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. (GILB) lost 5.70% today.

Five sector indices closed green, "Manu.& Pro." lost the highest 1.21% while "Mutual Fund" gained the highest 1.06%.
