NEPSE Fall Mere 0.31% to Settle at 1,867.22 Levels; Intraday Turnover Declined to Rs. 86.38 Crores

The NEPSE index closed at 1,867.22 today after losing 5.89 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.31%. The index gained 14.22 points yesterday.

The index opened at 1,874.85 and made an intraday high of 1,883.09. It then made an intraday low at 1,864.70 and ultimately closed at 1,867.22.

252 scrips traded hands via 20,433 transactions. A total of 2,440,307 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 86.38 Crores in turnover amount. This is lower than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 93.08 Crores.

NIC Asia Bank Ltd. (NICA) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 11.81 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 667.30 per share.

Adhikhola Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (AKBSL) gained the highest 10% and hit a positive circuit for the day.

On the other side of things, Panchakanya Mai Hydropower Ltd (PMHPL) lost the highest 6.28% today.

Only one sector closed green, "Banking" gained 0.27% while "Finance" lost the highest by 1.50%.
