NEPSE failed to cross Fibonacci 38.2% level; Nepal Bank in list of top gainers; Weekly Wrap Up of the NEPSE Index

Fri, Jun 28, 2019 3:54 PM on SS Pro, Stock Market, Weekly Analysis, Featured,

NEPSE index movement:

The index opened at 1264.53 points and closed at 1257.15 points with the loss of 7.38 points (0.58%).

The candlestick chart of the weekly time-period is shown below;

This week the NEPSE has formed bearish candle, this week’s candle is the fourth bearish candle in a row.

The index tested the 38.2% Fibonacci level twice in the last two weeks. However, the NEPSE failed to break that level which signifies the paleness of the sellers in the market. The market seems comparatively stable in the last two week.

In the last 10-12 months, often the market has reversed the trend (short-term) whenever it went through the stable phase after a strong movement. The current stability could bring a rising market in the coming days.

NEPSE Chart Analysis:

NEPSE has formed small-bodied candle in this week. The volume has increased on a daily basis.

The index looks indecisive in the last two weeks.

We could see high volatility in the coming week and few technical indicators softly signaling for a trend reversal.
