NEPSE down by 6.81 points; Total turnover on diminishing trend

The local bourse slipped by 6.81 points or 0.66 percent to close at 1021.33 level.

NEPSE index opened at 1027 level this afternoon and there after steady came down to the level of 1021.33 at closing.

The total turnover of the day was of Rs 42.36 crore where more than 11 lakhs unit shares were traded of 145 companies.

Companies of 7 sectors were traded today where HydroPower, Development and Insurance plunged by double digits.

Finance was the only sub-index to land in red today recording plunge of 3.08 points.

Maximum shares of PROFL, MBB, NBB, CZBIL and SANIMA were traded today. Promoter shares of Prabhu Bank were traded of Rs 6.6 crore.

Shares of EBL, NABIL and NBB were traded of maximum amount.


Shares of UFL, NEFL, SIFC and LFLC surged more than 9 percent today.

However share price of SMFDB and MSBBL dropped by more than 9 percent.

BPCL, NCDB, UFIL and KMCDBL were among the top losers of the day after SMFDB and MSBBL.
