NEPSE Down 16.60 Points to Close at 2,027.32; Only Mutual Fund Closes Green by 0.66%

The NEPSE index closed at 2,027.32 today after losing 16.60 points from last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.81%. The index had gained 13.33 points yesterday.
The index opened at 2051.50 and made an intraday high at 2,080.96. It then went intraday day low at 2,023.01 and ultimately closed at 2,027.32.
229 scrips traded hands via 31,276 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 4,711,025 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.806 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 2.178 Arba.
Life Insurance Corporation (Nepal) Limited (LICN) had the highest turnover of Rs. 7.65 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 1,525. The shares of Sunrise Bank Ltd Promoter Share (SRBLPO) traded the most.
RBB Mutual Fund 1 (RMF1) gained the highest 3.93%.
On the other side of things, Summit Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SMFDB) lost the highest 5.20% today.
Only one sector index closed green, “Mutual Fund" gained 0.66% while "Others" lost the highest 1.43%.
