NEPSE displaces another 7 points, standing just 2 points clear of 1100 points; two companies hit the circuit today, one positive and one negative

The market today went on to create newer lows. The index lost 0.65% or 7.21 points and closed at 1102.51 points. The turnover today stood at Rs.23.45 Crore which was achieved from trade of 876,208 units of shares traded through 5,147 transactions trading scrips of 161 listed companies in the process.

Today’s highest turnover was achieved through trade of Promoter shares of Nabil Bank (NABILPO). The turnover was at Rs.2.43 Crore with the LTP of the scrip standing at Rs.747 per share. Upper Tamakoshi (UPPER) was traded the most today as 51,862 units exchanged hands. The LTP of the hydropower company stands at Rs.221 per share.

Chautari Laghubitta (CHLBS) managed to hit the positive circuit today as well. The microfinance company gained 9.95% or 41 points to close at Rs.453 per share. World Merchant Banking & Finance Limited (WMBF) hit the negative circuit after it lost 9.09% or 8 points to close at Rs.80 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 1.80 points and closed at 234.36 points.

Hotels and Manufacturing & Processing were the only sub-indices that gained today. They gained 0.56% and 0.01% respectively. Rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points. The top loser was Trading sector as it lost 1.91%.
