The NEPSE index closed at 1,891.31 today after gaining 8.10 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 0.43%. The index gained 5.88 points yesterday.
Today the index opened at 1,883.45 and made an intraday low of 1,866.08. In contrast, it went as high as 1,898.91 and ultimately closed at 1,891.31.
272 scrips traded hands via 25,746 transactions. A total of 3,495,752 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.278 Arba in turnover amount. This is lower than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.6 Arba.
Shivam Cements Limited (SHIVM) had the highest turnover of Rs. 7.34 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 416.30 per share. The shares of SHL traded the most.
Aatmanirbhar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ANLB) gained the highest 10% and hit the positive circuit for the day.
