NEPSE Continues Falling Spree, Fell 0.35% To Limit Intraday Turnover To Rs. 1.023 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 1,897.86 today after losing 6.59 points from last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.35%. The index had gained 21.29 points yesterday.

The index opened at 1,905.21 and made intraday high at 1,919.80. It then made intraday low at 1,895.89 and ultimately closed at 1,897.86.

229 scrips traded hands via 22,771 transactions. A total of 2,745,109 shares exchanged hands amounting to only Rs. 1.023 Arba in the turnover amount. This is higher than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 94.6 Crores.



Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 8.23 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 3,621 per share. The shares of Garima Bikas Bank Limited Promoter Share (GBBLPO) traded the most.

Citizens Mutual Fund -1 (CMF1) gained the highest 4.58% for the day.

On the other side of things, Taragaon Regency Hotel Limited (TRH) lost 8.56% today.

Only three sector indices closed green, "Trading Index" gained the highest 0.30% while "Finance Index" lost the highest 1.61%.
