NEPSE Continues Falling Spree, Fell 0.13% To Limit Intraday Turnover To Rs 77.70 Crores

The NEPSE index closed at 1,899.70 today after losing 2.57 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.13%. The index gained 16.97 points yesterday.
The index opened at 1,900.23 and made an intraday high of 1,904.75. It then made an intraday low at 1,888.82 and ultimately closed at 1,899.70.
248 scrips traded hands via 16,320 transactions. A total of 4,470,625 shares exchanged hands amounting to only Rs. 77.70 Crores in turnover amount. This is lower than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.366 Arba.
Nabil Bank Limited (NABIL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 7.17 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 807.10 per share. The shares of Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) traded the most.
CYC Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (CYCL) gained the highest 10% and hit a positive circuit for the day.
On the other side of things, Terhathum Power Company Limited (TPC) lost 3.29% today.
Only four sector indices closed green, "Others" lost the highest by 0.90% while "Mutual Fund" gained the highest by 0.90%.
