The NEPSE Index closed at 2,982.64 after gaining 112.01 points (3.90%). The index closed at 2,870.63 last week gaining 5.08 % from the previous week.

This week, the index went as high as 2992.26 and as low as 2856.88 hence witnessing volatility of  135.38 points. The index had seen volatility of 154.95 points in the previous week.

The highest intraday gain was 80.98 points on Tuesday with a turnover of Rs 20.08 Arba, however, the total turnover stood at Rs 95.94 Arba this week.

 

Momentum Indicators

The RSI reading on the daily timeframe is 84.23. Meanwhile, the RSI reading on the weekly chart is 68.97.

Conversely, the MACD and Signal lines are in the Positive zone i.e., with the MACD reading at 79.72.

Nepse Index is above both the 20-day Exponential Moving Average and the 5-day Exponential Moving Average. The Index above the moving average indicates earlier bullish sentiment.

2,930 - 2,900 level may act as the nearest support whereas, the 3000 -3,040 zone will act as major resistance zone.
