This week, the NEPSE Index closed at 2.080.87 after gaining 50.32 points (1.68%). The index closed at 2,030.55 last week, gaining 2.96% from the previous week.

This week, the index went as high as 2,123.91 and as low as 2.032.58 hence witnessing volatility of 91.33 points. The index had seen volatility of 148.24 points in the previous week.

The highest intraday gain was 58.56 points on Tuesday with a turnover of Rs 4.55 Arba, however, the total turnover stood at Rs 15.66 Arba this week.

 

Momentum Indicators

The RSI reading on the daily timeframe is 55.01. Meanwhile, the RSI reading on the weekly chart is 55.07.

Conversely, the MACD and Signal lines are moving toward the positive zone i.e., above zero with the MACD reading at 4.91.

Nepse Index is above both the 5-day and 20-day Moving Average making a golden cross pattern.

2,000 zone may act as the nearest support whereas, the 2,180 zone will act as resistance.
