NEPSE Closes Red Again; Intraday Turnover Sees An Uptick

The NEPSE index closed at 2,875.97 today after losing 0.62 points from yesterday's closing. The index had lost 60.02 points yesterday.

The index opened at 2,880.54 and made the intraday high at 2,911.82. While it went as low as 2,866.05, it ultimately closed at 2,875.97.

A total of 14,474,855 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 7.05 Arba in the turnover amount. This is higher than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 6.46 Arba. 230 scrips traded hands via 72,858 transactions.

Ridi Hydropower Development Company Limited (RHPC) had the highest turnover of Rs. 49.39 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 955 per share. The shares of Arun Valley Hydropower Development Company Limited (AHPC) traded the most.

Himalayan Power Partner Limited (HPPL) and Sanima Life Insurance Company Limited (SLI) have hit the positive 10% circuit today. On the other side of things, Ridi Hydropower Development Company Limited (RHPC) lost the most 5.26%.

Four sectors gained while all others closed red. Hydropower gained the most 1.91% and Finance lost the most 1.28%.
