NEPSE Closes at 1,965.36 After Gaining Huge 43.20 Points, Four Scrips Hit Positive Circuit

The NEPSE index closed at 1,965.36 today after gaining 43.20 points from last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 2.25%. The index had gained 16.14 points last Thursday.
The index opened at 1,924.2 and made intraday low at 1,919.24. It then ultimately closed at intraday high of 1,965.36.
228 scrips traded hands via 27,768 transactions. A total of 3,913,573 shares exchanged hands amounting to only Rs. 1.548 Arba in the turnover amount. This is alot higher than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 89.89 Crores.
NESDO Sambridha Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (NESDO) had the highest turnover of Rs. 10.14 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 3,173.50 per share. The shares of Himal Dolakha Hydropower Company Limited (HDHPC) traded the most.
Four scrips gained the highest 10% each and hit positive circuit for the day.
On the other side of things, Nabil Equity Fund (NEF) lost 2.48% today.
Only one sector closed red, "Mutual Fund" lost 0.05% while "Microfinance" gained the highest 4.58%.
