NEPSE closes at 1176.86 level; down by 6.50 points

On the last trading day of the week, the benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went down by 6.50 points or 0.55 % to close at 1176.86 level. Opening at the 1183.79 level this afternoon, the local bourse came down to a level of 1172.22 during the second trading hour of the day, later was seen hovering around the 1175 level. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 59.92 crore where more than 9 lakhs unit shares were traded through 2,934 transactions. Except finance all the sectors at NEPSE landed in red. Hydropower, Insurance and others sector plunged by double digit. Sensitive index and the float index went up by 1.38 points and 0.36 points respectively. CZBIL, SANIMA, NIBPO, NIBSF1, NBB, PRVUPO, PRVU, KBL, PCBL and REDBL were among the top traded shares. ARUN, REDBL, UFCL, MIDBL, MMFDB, LFLC, KDBL, NEFL, APEX and SWBBL among the top gainers of the day. MBBL, KBBL, AHPC, SHINE, RLFL, TRH, KRBL, TDBL, RHPC and MNBBL were the top losers of the day.
