NEPSE closes at 1165.97 points gaining 3.28 points today; NMB Bank posts turnover of Rs.5.67 Crore

The market today stood to gain 0.28% or 3.28 points. The benchmark index closed at 1165.97 points. Today’s turnover was worth Rs.40.11 Crore which was achieved from trade of 1,205,914 units of shares traded through 4,878 transactions trading scrips of 163 listed companies in the process.

Today 148,662 units of NMB Bank (NMB) were traded posting a turnover of Rs.5.67 Crore, topping both the turnover and shares traded list. The LTP of the bank stands at Rs.381 per share.

Shangrila Development Bank (SADBL) was today’s top gainer after it gained 7.75% or 11 points to close at Rs.153 per share. Lalitpur Finance (LFC) lost 6.66% or 10 points to close at Rs.140 per share, making it today’s top loser.

Sensitive Index gained 0.74 points and closed at 248.07 points while Float Index gained 0.33 points and closed at 83.83 points.

Trading, Hotels, Finance and Other sectors were among the losing sub-indices as they lost 0.14%, 1.67% 1.10% and 0.14% respectively. Rest of the sub-indices gained points, standing in the green zone, with Hydropower gaining the most at 0.97%.
