NEPSE closes at 1113 points for the week with minimum turnover; CHLBS becomes today’s most traded stock along with top gaining stock

The market today made minimal movement towards the positive side on the last trading day of the week. The index gained 0.84 points and stood to close at 1113.07 points. Today’s turnover was similar to that of yesterday at Rs.16.44 Crore which was achieved from trade of 475,766 units of shares traded through 7,139 transactions trading scrips of 155 listed companies in the process.

Chautari Laghubitta (CHLBS) was today’s most traded scrip along with being the top gaining stock. A turnover of Rs.2.50 Crore was posted by the microfinance company. This was achieved through trade of 42,215 units of shares. It hit the positive circuit after gaining 9.87% or 54 points and closed at Rs.601 per share.

Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) was today’s top loser after it lost 3.90% or 55 points to close at Rs.1354 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 0.27 points and stood to close at 236.60 points while Float Index gained 0.10 points and closed at 80.90 points.

Hydropower, Manufacturing & Processing and Microfinance were among the losing sub-indices after they lost 0.10%, 0.64% and 0.18% respectively. Rest of the sub-indices ended in the green zone with Trading gaining the most at 1.11%.
