NEPSE closes above 927; turnover down by Rs 61 million

NEPSE slipped scanty 0.53 point or 0.06 percent to close at 927.80 level compared to yesterday’s closing of 928.33 mark index.
The benchmark index fell drastically by more than 7.67 points touching the intraday low of 920.67 level till mid-trading hour mainly due to the selling trend of the investors who entered earlier while the index was below 900 mark.
However the local bourse was able to recover itself from loss of 7.67 points to minimal 0.53 point till closing.
Similarly NEPSE sensitive and Float dropped by meager 0.05 point and 0.2 point, closing at 197.83 and 64.73 level respectively.
Among the sub-indices, Banking went down by 3.18 points or 0.39 percent to stand at 810.98 level. Development and Finance landed in green gaining 1.22 point and 4.24 points respectively.
Hotels, HydroPower and Insurance plunged by double digit of 34.01 points, 12.58 points and 15.9 points respectively.
Manufacturing and Others gained double digit of 39.48 points and 11.75 points respectively.
Total turnover has dipped by more than Rs 61 million than yesterday’s total of Rs 281.82 million.
Altogether 661,137 unit shares of 144 companies was traded today through 1,985 transaction worth Rs 220.51 million.
