NEPSE Bounces Back From Support: Index Up 5.10% With 30 Companies Hit Positive Circuit; Turnover Highest in 44 Days

The NEPSE index closed at 1,956.98 today after gaining 94.92 points from last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 5.10%. The index had gained 13.78 points on last trading day (Friday).
The index opened at 1863.47 which is also the intraday low. It then made an intraday high at 1,957.09 and ultimately closed at 1,956.98, almost at intraday high levels.
230 scrips traded hands via 44,341 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 6,363,590 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 2.196 Arba in the turnover amount. This is higher than last Friday’s turnover of Rs. 1.151 Crores. This is the highest turnover in 44 days.
Kumari Bank Limited (KBL) shares traded the most had the highest turnover of Rs. 8.64 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 203.
Thirty scrips gained the highest 10% and hit a positive circuit for the day.
On the other side of things, 8.5% Nepal Investment Bank Debenture 2084 (NIBD84) lost 2.16% today.
All sector indices closed green, and “Investment" gained the highest 8.87% while "Banking" gained the least 2.69%.
