NEPSE Bounced Back with 12.57 Points and Closes at 1,978.94; Eleven Sector Indices Close Green

The NEPSE index closed at 1,978.94 today after gaining 12.57 points from last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 0.64%. The index had lost 29.89 points yesterday.
The index opened at 1,966.89 and the intraday lowest was 1,950.76. It then made intraday high at 1,993.95 and ultimately closed at 1,978.94 .
221 scrips traded hands via 25,585 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 3,594,594 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.187 Arba in the turnover amount. This lower than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 1.491 Arba.
Nepal Doorsanchar Company Limited (NTC) had the highest turnover of Rs. 13.88 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 895. The shares of Nepal Credit And Commercial Bank Limited (NCCB) traded the most.
Adhikhola Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (AKBSL) gained the highest 10% and hit positive circuit for the day.
On the other side of things, Lumbini General Insurance Co. Ltd. (LGIL) lost the highest 3.8%.
Eleven out of thirteen sector indices closed green, “Others" gained the highest 2.81% while "Investment" lost the highest 0.1%.
