NEPSE at 980.70; turnover above Rs 300 million

The benchmark index on Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) slipped by 5.32 points or 0.54 percent to close at 980.70 level.
NEPSE Sensitive and Float also went down by 1.21 point and 0.22 point respectively.
Among the sub-indices, Banking dropped by 5.18 points or 0.59 percent to stand at 866.74 level.
Similarly HydroPower and Hotels dipped 1.12 point and 15.18 points respectively
Others plunged by maximum points today (24.67 points) to be at 736.62 level.
On the contrary, Development and Finance gained 6.44 points and 0.09 point respectively.
Insurance surged by 7.46 points whereas Manufacturing remained at 141.88 level.
Altogether 693,704 unit shares of 142 companies were traded through 2,807 transactions worth Rs 316.76 million.
Shares of CCBL and Prabhu Bank were traded maximum today.
