NEPSE above 981 level; turnover around Rs 227 million

The benchmark index of Nepal Stock Exchange stepped up by 0.47 point or 0.05 percent to close at 981.01 level.

The local bourse was almost stable throughout the day as the index was within 979 and 981 level.

NEPSE sensitive and Float also gained 0.05 point each.

However the total turnover stood at Rs 227.03 million only amid the maximum money has been injected in the IPO of Rapti Bheri (more than 51 times).

Among the sub-indices, Banking surged by 1.35 points or 0.16 percent to close at 866.14 level.

Development and Finance also went up by 3.7 points and 1.24 points respectively.

Hotels, Insurance and Manufacturing 1.71 point, 6.73 points and 8.27 points respectively.

HydroPower and Others slipped by 1.37 point and 9.4 points respectively.
