Nepalese Handicraft Association concludes 5 days handicraft expo and national handicraft competition; registers footfall of 50K visitors with turnover of over Rs 10 crore

Nepalese Handicrafts Association has concluded the 19th National Handicraft expo and 17th handicraft competition on Mangsir 27, 2079 with a footfall of over 50 thousand spectators and a turnover of over Rs 10 crore.

Industry and Commerce Minister Mr. Dilendra Prasad Badu visited the expo’s fifth and final day where he also felicitated the winners of the national handicraft competition. The expo also saw felicitation to ten senior craft artists with health service packages while 50 other senior members associated with the association since its inception also received the special acknowledgement, as per the media statement.

Artists Mr. Dipak Raj Tuladhar, and Chandeswori Shrestha won the two different art competitions who received a cash prize of Rs 50 thousand each with certification while two others received second and third prizes each in individual categories, as per the media statement.
