NATAS Travel Fair concluded on a very positive gesture from Singaporeans and other international visitors. The Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) participated in the largest tourism consumer fair in Singapore with the support of the Honorary Consulate General of Nepal to Singapore and the NTB’s honorary public representative. It was organized by National Association of Travel Agents Singapore (NATAS) on July 31.

The backdrop at Nepal’s stall showed a mix of themes on nature, culture and adventure. People coming to the stall were very inquisitive about Nepal, the NTB said in a press statement. People in Singapore were happy to know that post-earthquake Nepal was already welcoming tourists, the places of tourist interest were safe and that most of the monuments were still standing and the rest were being rebuilt.

With Silk Air directly connecting Nepal and Singapore and other airlines like Thai and Malindo Air having better connections, Nepal is a preferable destination for Singaporeans. Nepal’s promotional endeavour was covered by many online and print media, the most remarkable coverage among them being in TTG.

Honorary Consul General in Singapore Madhusudan M Patel and NTB Honorary Representative in Singapore Narayan Bahadur Shrestha were present throughout the fair and answered queries of visitors coming to the Nepal stall.
