Nepal SBI Bank refunding money to non-allottees from Magh 28; allottees to get 28% bonus shares

Nepal SBI Bank Limited (SBI) will be refunding its money to the non-allottee FPO applicants from Magh 28, 2073. As per an official of NMB Capital Limited, the issue manager for the FPO, applicants who have mentioned bank accounts of NMB Bank, Nepal SBI Bank, and Nepal Bangladesh Bank in their respective bank accounts. The issue manager is working closely with other banks as well to have the money refunded directly to bank accounts automatically.
"NMB Capital will be refunding the money from coming Friday. We are working with BFIs and awaiting their replies to have the money deposited to the respective bank accounts directly. We are will publish a notice about the refund soon", said the official.
FPO allottees also eligible for SBI's bonus for FY 2072/73
Nepal SBI Bank had proposed 28% bonus share from the profits it made in FY 2072/73. The book closure date for its upcoming AGM was yesterday (Magh 23) and there was a confusion whether the FPO allottees were also eligible for the proposed dividend. The bank has made it clear that those allottees are also eligible for the 28% bonus share.
Nepal SBI Bank is conducting its 23rd AGM on Magh 27, 2073. The AGM is going to endorse 28% bonus share and 1.53% cash dividend (for tax purpose) among other agendas.
