Nepal Rastra Bank urges the investors of Infrastructure Bank to deposit 45% amount of the paid up capital; Super commercial bank to soon come into operation

Nepal Rastra Bank has directed the investors of Infrastructure Bank to deposit 45% amount of the paid up capital of the bank. The paid up capital of the bank has been announced to be Rs 20 arba. The bank is set to come into operation with 10% investment from Nepal Government and 90% from the public sector. In the proposed bank, 28 banks, financial institutions and insurances as well as 14 individuals have come forward as the promoters of the proposed banks. Individual Promoters:

The bank’s main focus will be set upon the flotation of loans for the infrastructural developments, investing in the debentures of companies, to allocate capital for infrastructural developments by issuing bonds and debentures after the approval of the Rastra Bank Leasing Business and so on.
