Nepal Rastra Bank unveils report on dwindling FDI; Nepal received 8.80% less FDI in fiscal year 2075-76
Nepal Rastra Bank has published the findings of the research conducted on the status of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Nepal for the fiscal year 2075-076.
As per the report, it has been observed that the FDI during the review period has declined by 8.8% to Rs 182.92 arba. Nepal had received FDI from 53 different countries during the fiscal year where India was the biggest investor totaling Rs 56.05 arba followed by China with Rs 27.56 arba.
Out of the total FDIs, Nepal received the largest FDI of 51.1% in the service sector followed by sectors like industries and trading, as per the media statement.
