Nepal Rastra Bank unveils Nepali coins in respect to 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak; celebrates the rich cultural diversity and lineage of Nepal
Nepal rastra Bank has unveiled coins of different denominations to mark the 550th birthday of Guru Nanak. The coins worth Rs 100, 1000 and 2500 were unveiled by Governor of NRB Dr. Chiranjibi Nepal and Indian Ambassador Mr. Manjit Sing Puri.
The event also saw the unveil of the book Sikh Heritage of Nepal that celebrates the deep and rich relationship between the Sikh community and the Nepalese culture since last 5 centuries.
