Nepal Rastra Bank to collect Rs 5 arba from the banking system today; Rastra Bank adopts measure as per Interest Rate Corridor policy

Nepal Rastra Bank will be collecting Rs 5 arba from the banking system today. Rastra Bank will be collecting the amount to control high volatility in the interest rate present in the market.
The central bank has planned to mop up the amount by utilizing the instruments mentioned in the Interest Rate Corridor Policy for 2 weeks. In the similar manner Rastra Bank had collected Rs 10 arba from the market before few weeks.
The amount of Rs 5 arba collected today will be matured on Shrawan 4, 2074 (i.e. after 14 days).
