Nepal Rastra Bank ready to tackle liquidity crisis on its own way; To deposit Rs 10.15 arba in FD of financial institutions

Nepal Rastra Bank will be depositing Rs 10.15 arba in fixed deposits of various banks and financial institutions. The central bank will be depositing the amount from Poush 1 till Mangsir 30, 2076 i.e. for 1 year.

After the banks and financial institutions have started their competition for the hike in interest rates to collect investable funds, Rastra Bank has come forward with the scheme.

NRB will be depositing Rs 8,12,69,00,000 in the commercial banks, Rs 1,52,38,00,000 in national level development banks and Rs 50,71,00,000 in the finance companies.

Nepal Rastra Bank has invited the interested banks and financial institutions to place sealed bids within Mangsir 23, 3:00 PM.
