Nepal Rastra Bank instructs BFIs to provide valid relaxations to businesses facing genuine crises; directs to go hard against willful defaulters

Nepal Rastra Bank has organized interaction event with all banks and financial institutions of Nepal.

Governor of NRB Mr. Maha Prasad Adhikari has instructed BFIs to provide certain necessary relief packages to the businesses that are genuinely facing the brunt of economic slowdown. Nevertheless, the governor has also instructed the BFIs to go hard on the people and institutions who are misleading public to willfully default on their loans, as per the media statement.
