Nepal Rastra Bank Calls for Bids on Rs 25 Billion Worth of Bonds

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has invited bids for bonds worth Rs 25 billion. According to a public notice issued by the central bank, the 2084 'Ng' (2027 'E') bonds can be bid for online.

Only banks and financial institutions of 'A', 'B', and 'C' categories licensed by NRB as counterparties are eligible to participate in the auction.

Counterparties are required to specify both the bid amount and the interest rate, up to four decimal places. NRB has stated that bids must be submitted for a minimum of Rs 50 million, up to a maximum equal to the total call amount, in multiples exactly divisible by Rs 50 million.
