Nepal Life profit dips 27.65%; premium income rises to Rs 3.53 arba

Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited, one of the leading insurance company net profit decline by 27.65 percent during the second quarter of current fiscal year 2071/72.

Publishing a report today, the insurance company has posted a net earning of Rs 10.03 crore, a slide from last fiscal’s Rs 13.86 crore. However, this profit figure excludes the profit made from the actuary valuation of insurance fund.

Life insurance fund of the Nepal Life has increased to Rs 20.36 arba up from Rs 14.78 arba of last fiscal year same quarter.

Nepal Life increased its paid up to Rs 108.37 crore from Rs 63.75 crore reported in the last fiscal.

The company’s EPS stands at Rs 18.51, net worth at Rs 164.33 and price to earnings ratio stands at 245.16 times.

The policy holders rises from 8.19 lakhs to 9.85 lakhs upto the end of this quarter.
